Fall Uniforms
Uniforms are not just clothing; they are symbols of unity, pride, and the enduring spirit of competition. They foster a sense of togetherness and a shared purpose with each member, as well as with the parents and fans.
What Makes a Uniform?
Each student is fitted for and assigned a fall uniform that consists of a jacket, bibs (pants), gauntlets, shako (hat), and raincoat. In addition to the DJMB issued pieces, students will be responsible for purchasing marching band shoes, long black socks, and gloves.
Care and Keeping
-
The jacket and bibs will be stored in a garment bag at the school when not in use.
-
Plumes are kept by the school and distributed then re-collected at each performance.
-
Students are issued a duffel and hatbox for all remaining uniform pieces and are responsible for keeping and bringing it to each performance.
