August 17 Update

I hope everyone had a great weekend! Please excuse the one day early announcement this week. We are excited to perform our program in front of a football audience for the first time this Friday. I want to get the information to you, specifically about sectional cancellations this week. 


Updates and Announcements


First Full Week of After-School Rehearsals

  • Monday, August 18 - Wind Sectional CANCELED

    • Open House conflict

  • Tuesday, August 19 - Percussion and Color Guard Sectionals CANCELED

    • Get some rest after the first day of school!

  • Wednesday, August 20

    • 3:00-3:15pm - Leadership Team Meeting, Orchestra Room

    • 3:30-5:30pm - Full Ensemble Rehearsal

  • Thursday, August 21

    • 3:30-5:30pm - Full Ensemble Rehearsal

  •  Friday, August 22 - Football Game at Westerville South

    • 4:30pm: Report Time, Summer Uniforms

    • 5:30pm: Depart

    • 6:15pm: Arrival, Westerville South High School

    • 7:00pm: Kickoff!

    • ~11:00pm: Arrival, Dublin Jerome High School


Pick Up from Band Events

  • For safety and organization, please pull into a parking spot and wait for your student to come to you. Please, do not pull up to the curb.

Concession Sign-Up

There are still open spots for concessions volunteers. Please sign up to fulfill your 3 shift requirement for the fall season. Thank you, in advance!


Special Events Sign-Up

We are looking for volunteers to help serve meals to our students before events.

  • Sign up to help with 8th Grade Night, the Fund Drive, or any of our Competitions!


Hospitality Crew Sign-Up

We need volunteers to help serve cookies to our students during the 3rd quarter of the home football games.


Looking ahead…

  • Band Pictures: Friday, August 29, 3:00-5:00pm

    • Forms will be coming home this week

  • 8th grade night: Friday, September 5

  • Fund drive night: Wednesday, September 10
