Good afternoon, Jerome Band families! I hope you all had a great weekend!
Announcements and Upcoming Events
Band Pictures
Friday, August 29, 3:00-5:00pm, Dublin Jerome Gymnasium, Full Uniforms with Gauntlets and Gloves, No Shakos
3:00pm: Senior Individuals
3:30pm: Group Picture
3:40pm: Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior Individuals
Picture order envelopes are available in the Band Room.
Please bring the envelopes with you to the pictures.
Payment will be made directly to the company, HR Imaging.
Dinner will be on your own.
Parents may drop-off food or students may go out after their pictures, if they wish.
Football Game at Reynoldsburg

We will keep an eye on the weather regarding if it’ll be too cold for summer uniforms. That call will be made after rehearsal on Thursday, at the latest.
6:00pm: Arrive
7:00pm: Kickoff!
~11:00pm: Arrive at Dublin Jerome

Online orders will be open through September 5th.
Sizes XS-XL are $20 each; 2XL & 3XL are $21 each.
After Sept 5, you can still order the shirt through our online store at Dublin Spirit Wear. However, the price will increase since it is not part of the bulk order.

Volunteer Background Checks
All volunteers working with our students are required to complete a background check. This process is quick, simple, and ensures the safety and well-being of our band members.

Halftime Hospitality Help
Would you like to be right in the middle of the action of halftime? Help the Hospitality Crew serve water and cookies to our band and the visiting band at our home games!
Looking ahead…
Fall Concert Band Auditions: Tuesday, September 2, 3:00-7:00pm
Students will prepare their audition material available on Schoology
Students will sign-up for a time slot for their respective audition. They are not required to stay from 3:00 to 7:00pm
The first day of concert band rehearsals will be on Monday, September 8.
FUNdrive: Wednesday, September 10
Our annual Fund Drive is coming up and we need your help!
One of the biggest parts of making this event successful is ensuring our students can safely get to the neighborhoods where they will be collecting donations.
We are asking for parent volunteers to drive students during the fund drive. If you are willing, please complete the background check at the link above.

CANCELED: Football Game at Olentangy Berlin, Friday, October 10
With 6 away games this year, we will not be traveling to this one. The game itself will still be happening, we simply won’t be going to it.
