Band Update, August 9, 2026

Hello Everyone! 

We had a great first week of Camp! I’m incredibly proud of the work the students have done so far!

• Band Camp, Week 2: Monday-Friday, August 10-14, 8:30am-4:30pm

  • These rehearsals are for all students.

  • Please bring:

    • All music in a binder with transparency sheets

    • Lunch

    • UDBapp

    • 64 oz. Water Bottle

      • Write your name on all parts

    • Hat

    • Sunscreen

    • Poncho or Raincoat

  • Freshmen Orientation: Thursday, August 13, 11:30am-1:30pm

    • Freshmen will be dismissed from rehearsal at this time to join orientation.

    • They should plan on eating lunch sometime in the two-hour block.

    • They should report to sectionals at 1:30pm.

• Theme Days!

  • Monday: Red 

  • Tuesday: Orange/Yellow

  • Wednesday: Green

  • Thursday: Blue 

  • Friday: Purple

• Movie Night!: Wednesday, August 12, 9:00-11:00pm, Celtic Stadium

  • We’ll be watching “The Incredibles” under the night sky!

• Band Camp Parent Performance: Friday, August 14, 5:00pm, Celtic Stadium

  • Come see all the hard work your students have been doing these past weeks!

• Football Game Cancellations

  • We will not be traveling to the following football games:

    • Friday, September 18 at New Albany High School

    • Friday, October 16 at Olentangy High School

• Looking Ahead…

  • Dublin Jerome Marching Band Convocation Performance: Monday, August 17, 10:30am

    • Report Time: 9:45am, Summer Uniforms, Dublin Jerome CPA

    • This will be a 15-minute performance for the staff in the district requested by Central Office.

  • Full Ensemble Rehearsals: Tuesday, August 18 and Wednesday, August 19, 3:30-5:30pm

    • There is no school these days, but we do have rehearsal. Let’s remember our show for Friday!

  • First Day of School: Thursday, August 20

    • NO REHEARSAL!

  • First Football Game vs. Westerville South: Friday, August 21, 7:00pm

    • 5:30pm: Report Time, Summer Uniforms
